Brazilian Jiujitsu Programs
BJJ Gi Fundamentals
BJJ is a grappling based Martial Art that uses the principles of leverage, positional control, and technique to allow a smaller, weaker person to successfully defend against a bigger, stronger opponent. Learn various submissions with the traditional Gi or Kimono including chokes, armlocks, and leglocks. BJJ is widely recognized as one of the most effective methods of self-defense and also a great core workout. Work your way all the way up to the rank of black belt under one of the most successful lineages in the world.
BJJ NoGi Fundamentals
Nogi brazilian jiujitsu or submission wrestling is similar to Brazilian jiujitsu practiced in the Gi but without the traditional kimono. Typically shorts and a tshirt are worn for training and the pace of the training tends to be faster due to the absence of cloth grips. Wrestling takedowns, headlocks, and leg attacks are all the primary focus in this class. Get the technique of BJJ without having to wear the Gi but keep in mind, promotions are done in the Gi.
